Kids Mobility Network was founded in 2005 by Peter and Christy Kopp. As the proud parents of Kayla, a child with disabilities, the Kopp family realizes first-hand the benefit of complex rehab technology (“CRT”) to children and their families.
When Kayla out grew her first wheelchair, the Kopp family tried to find an organization that would find a new home for Kayla’s wheelchair with a child that could benefit from using this excellent and expensive wheelchair. It was soon discovered that such an organization did not exist, so the Kopps developed Kids Mobility Network as a resource to children with disabilities and their families.
Kids Mobility Network now serves as the premier provider of complex rehab technology for uninsured and under-insured families. The Organization has served thousands of children with disabilities.
